Our full safeguarding policy is being reviewed and will be published here before Avenly opens to the public. This page describes the protections that exist in the product today.

Safety controls that exist in the product today

1. 01Nobody can create an administrator or learner account themselves. Our team sets up administrators; a learner is invited by their parent or by us.
2. 02Every tutor application is read and decided by a person, and the decision and its reason are kept on record.
3. 03A tutor can only reach the learners they are actively matched with. Ending a match ends that access.
4. 04The classroom is open only to the assigned tutor and learner, only around the lesson time.
5. 05Lessons are not recorded.
6. 06Anyone signed in, including a learner, can report a concern from any page. It goes to our team with a reference number, never to a shared feed.
